XXL Beautiful Warped Porcelain Nerikomi Fluted Bowl (Blue, White & Black Series)So worth it This was a fun one! The first time through the firing, the bowl came out with a bit of a warp that I felt took away from the bowl. So, I decided to embrace the warp and I put it through the kiln again and again until it developed this absolutely beautiful major warp in it. Besides the firing purposeful warping, the incredibly difficult part of creating this bowl is that all of the colors and patterns were creating using a nerikomi clay

This XXL porcelain bowl/platter was made using the nerikomi technique in which I add mason stains to powdered porcelain clay and then use various methods to combine it into a stunning work of art

This could include "s-cracks" on the bottom (where you won't see it)

This pottery is part of a huge collection hitting my shop over multiple pottery drops in May 2023

The gradient glaze pulled it all together in the end and we couldn't be happier with it
